Using the Password Manager built-in Mozilla Firefox
If you don't like RoboForm, it's better to use Firefox's built-in password manager than using the same passwords for all websites or storing them in a plain text file. Now see how to use Firefox Password Manager to remember, delete, and change saved passwords.
Remember Passwords with Firefox Password Manager
When you input a username and password Firefox hasn't saved, it will ask if you want Firefox to remember them. Click it and make your choice in the open dialog.
View and Remove Passwords from Firefox Password Manager
You can easily manage the usernames and passwords in the Firefox Password Manager. First open the password managing window by Firefox button on top > Options > Security tab > Saved Passwords, and do the following:
- To see the passwords you have saved, click Show Passwords. When you close the window, your passwords will be automatically hidden.
- Use the search box to find a particular website or username. Click the X in the search bar to clear your search and see the full list again.
- To remove a username and password, select it from the list and click Remove.
- To remove all stored usernames and passwords, click Remove All. After confirming this choice, all of your stored usernames and passwords will be deleted.
